She has worked for both private and public organizations such as, Nordstrom, Seattle Public Schools, Seattle Art Museum, Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, Kent School District, and PESB.
She earned her B.A. degree from the University of Washington, in General Studies: Persuasive Communications (Speech Communications, Art, and Marketing), and her M.A. from Pinchot University, Organizational Systems Renewal, in Organizational Leadership: Systems and Design Thinking

Why they are involved in GYOC: Ms. Moreland’s interest in the GYOC is to expand her passion of making a difference in the lives of students’ by increasing the diversity of educators, and improving the k-12 educational environment by using her academic, professional background, and unique mix of experience leading efforts to address complex issues through strategic collaboration and innovative design.
